Types of Shelving
Industrial shelving can be steel shelving, open or closed shelving, metal shelving or heavy duty shelving. You can select steel RET or Rolled Post Shelves in single bays, back to back shelving bays and have steel shelving bays joined together and setup in multiple runs or rows.
Pallet racking can be warehouse shelving, warehouse racks, pallet shelving or shelving that holds palletised goods.
Long span shelving is also known as open span or boltless shelving and is named due to the width of the shelving. It is ideal for storing long or heavy items such as archive boxes, cartons, plastic bins, pipework and metal parts.
Does Shelving need to be inspected?
Do you have to bolt down shelving?
It can be bolted to the floor for extra stability but is not a requirement.
